The year 2020 turned into a tragic new beginning when COVID-19 entered our world. In a matter of months the Coronavirus traveled around the globe affecting every area of our lives. Much of the world entered into quarantine causing everyone to suffer. The devastating virus caused people to spiral into panic, rage, anxiety, fear, and depression. Prachya Review chose Isolation, Emotion, and Beyond as a theme followed by broader themes: exploring the self in isolation and perspectives about belonging in a community. We wanted to give you a space to express your emotions and share your experiences about what this pandemic has meant to you. In this way we can show the world that we are united in pain, struggle, and devastation. A net of darkness may have been cast over our world but we will overcome it and have a future that will shine bright. Thank you for contributing to Prachya Review. Your submissions mean the world to us.
